So now that I’ve lapped the 2nd week of the challenge – it’s time to come clean – some days it seems nearly impossible to drink a full gallon of water. Am I along here in this thought?
So after a few hiccups (2 days of drinking nearly 1/2 of what I should be…tisk tisk), I was able to get back on track. Ironically enough, my new role at work also warranted a physical move, which happened to be closer to the H20. Not surprising that post-move, water intake is back up to the 1 gallon mark!
- Proximity Improvements– my new office is now a brisk 25-27 steps (depending on the height of my heels) to the kitchen, making water intake just that much easier
- Cool as a Cucumber – one of the funnier occurrences I have noticed are my temperature fluctuations, or lack thereof as of the last few weeks. I was always someone who was warm in the morning, on fire at lunch and then freezing in the afternoon – week 2 has been in the rear view and interestingly enough these temperature changes have stabilized
LOWS (or annoyances)
- Skipping… (Uh oh it happened…again) – as most folks know, in life, January just plain old stinks – it’s the new year, so folks are frantically trying to over correct or bring closure to the prior year’s mayhem and so with that came some truly crazy days. After giving myself a break and small pass card, I was back on track 2 days later but with that reduction, I certainly saw some uglier side effects (chapped lips, sluggish by early afternoon, etc)
